I got this chambray button down about a month ago and I wear it all the time. I love the way it looks with some big gaudy rhinestone earrings or my favorite sequined flats. The shirt fits really wide so I have been belting it. I love that Old Navy has larger sizes but for some reason they think that if you wear an XL that you are 5'4" and extra wide. 

Can't get enough

I am just loving Alabama Shakes right now!  I can't get enough of her voice and just love every song I have heard. Their debut album is coming out April 10th.

Celebrating friends

Happy Monday!

One of my best friends and most favorite people in the world is moving away next weekend. Brian is the kind of person that you want to have on your side. He is smart, resourceful and hilarious. This past weekend was all about celebrating our friendship and his big move to Dallas. I will miss Brian more than he knows.

I'm going to miss this face.

Salad Prep

One of my goals for 2012 is to be better at planning. Specifically meal planning. I work downtown so I have plenty of opportunity to eat out during the work week. It's faster, easy and I don't have to think about it in the mornings. As we all know, eating out that much gets expensive and unhealthy. Here is my solution to this issue. The past two weeks, on Sunday, I assembled these salads. 

Here are all the ingredients. I love a Craisin, goat cheese salad right now.
